The Destination Company Network
The US Military has some incredible talent. It screens for cognitive abilities and teaches teamwork, leadership, and hard work better than anyone.
But to be real, the military is like any big organization. By definition, it has average and below average performers. While it has some incredible people, the military's micro-communities can be incredibly nuanced and hard to understand from the outside. Even the services often struggle to understand one another. Each part of the military has its own lexicon, its own culture, and its own signals of quality.
Fidelis strives to make screening and sorting talent simple--fun.
Employers can think of us a bit like a placement agency but a lot less expensive and with fully aligned interests
We support employers with:
- More Data. Every hiring manager knows that a candidate's success depends as much on their natural talents, personality, and interests as it does on their skills and formal training. We strive to give employers the tools to micro-target the exact kind of people that will make them more competitive.
- Speed. We can't promise that we'll always have the right person for the job, but we can promise that you'll know quickly if we don't.
- Aligned Interests. Fidelis's business model is fully integrated to ensure that our incentives are always aligned with those of the employers who hire our graduates. We need our graduates to be able to add value to their new companies immediately. And employers need graduates to have a learning mindset that allows them to adapt quickly to the culture and requirements of their new team.
If you're an employer and are interested in partnering. Please give us a call, and we’ll show you how it works.

Top colleges across the country have made it clear to us that they want military alumni students on their campuses, citing the students' diversity of perspective, life experience, and unique goal orientation.
For universities, especially those that pride themselves on academically rigor, it’s often challenging to recruit talented and ambitious military students.
Fidelis is building a pipeline of well prepared military students, and we’re working with them to set their sights high, both for college and for their careers. We're building technology to make it simple for top universities to identify qualified and interested military candidates.
As a destination college, you’ll be able to screen, filter, and sort through potential students and then invite those who meet your criteria to apply.
Many military students are the first in their families to attend college. Fidelis is collaborating with Dick Light at Harvard, author of 'Making the Most of College', to train students to be ready to engage fully in the intellectual and social experience that can only be found on a college campus.
The Fidelis Professional Network of Mentors
We know the most important lessons in life don’t often come from a classroom or a science lab. They come from friends, coaches, and mentors who help students figure out their goals, navigate past challenges, and identify opportunities. One-on-one mentorship is great, but it's often hard to make a perfect match with just one person. We use technology to enable a team-based approach to mentorship that combines people students already know, and have trusted relationships with, along with people they meet through Fidelis.
Mentors don't have to be military alumni themselves, but it helps.
The fact is that most people who've served in the military have a nostalgic fondness and strong emotional attachment to the military. It's for that reason that Fidelis prefers the term "military alumni" rather than "veterans." It reflects our commitment and connection to others who've worn a uniform.
Fidelis recognizes that there are dozens of sub-cultures within each branch of service that drive affinity. So, we're refining systems to suggest pairings of students with mentors from their communities who share similar interests and objectives: SEALs with SEALs, Air Crew with Air Crew, Intel with Intel.
What’s in it for the mentor?
- Reconnect with other military alumni.
- Hone your mentoring and coaching skills.
- Find great talent for your organization.
- Put the ladder back down.
- And maybe even use the platform to find a mentor or two of your own.

Military Organizations
Fidelis is a technology company tackling a massive problem that has been around since the first soldiers came home. We’re humbled by the magnitude of the effort required and know that we can’t do it alone. To make as big a dent as possible, we collaborate with military organizations that are clearly mission-aligned.
Most veterans service organizations organizations (VSOs) are 501c3 and 501c19s, tax exempt corporations whose economic models rely on a combination of government funding and donations. Fidelis, on the other hand, is a venture-funded technology company with a very different economic model. We do not compete for resources with VSOs and can therefore collaborate effectively with VSOs to help them achieve their goals.
